Volunteers are crucial to our success. We depend on our volunteers to help with the rescued horses that have been surrendered, abused, and/or neglected. We are in need of knowledgeable help to care for our residents. Volunteers are needed to assist with daily care and farm chores, and in some cases experienced volunteers may be asked to help ride or do groundwork with horses that need retraining before they can be adopted. Volunteers are often needed to help with administrative work and fundraisers as well.
There are times when our facility may become over loaded with horses. During those busy times volunteers are needed to help with giving baths, hand walking the horses or assisting with their veterinary care. Working with the horses and giving them some needed TLC can be very rewarding.
